The Bridge
Pavla is a stunning woman with her values in the right place. She is remarkably composed and changes poses like a true professional. This photograph was taken on the newly reconstructed bridge near the Jihlava Zoo, where I aimed to use the light to my advantage and capture Pavla in the best possible way.
These were some of my final shots of the day. Shortly after, I received a phone call informing me that my father had been hospitalized. Although I tried not to let it show, this sudden event inevitably seeped into the images, and the rest of the photos just weren’t the same. This is why these portraits remain a rare and authentic memento of the calm just before the storm.
Pavla je nádherná dívka s hodnotami na správném místě. Nenechá se jen tak rozhodit a pózy střídá s naprostou profesionalitou. Tato fotka vznikla na nově zrekonstruovaném mostě u zoo v Jihlavě, kde jsem se snažil využít světlo ve svůj prospěch a zachytit Pavlu co nejlépe.
Byly to jedny z mých posledních záběrů toho dne. Krátce po nich přišel telefonát, že je můj otec v nemocnici. I když jsem se snažil nenechat na sobě nic znát, tato náhlá událost se do fotek nevyhnutelně promítla a zbytek fotek už prostě nebyl ono. Právě proto pro mě tyto portréty zůstávají vzácným a autentickým mementem klidu těsně před bouří.
