Viaduct
This is another one of my experiments with long exposure and steel wool. Although it is not a groundbreaking photographic technique, this creative play with light still holds its unmistakable charm for me, even after all these years. It is simply something close to my heart, and it is more than likely that I will light up the arches of another tunnel or an old bridge like this again in the future.
The location itself has a very interesting character. This bridge connects two completely different worlds—it is a fascinating combination of traditional stone masonry and a more modern steel construction.
Today, this bridge has been completely renovated and looks different. Therefore, this photograph also carries an unexpected documentary value—capturing the raw atmosphere of the place at a time when it still bore the patina of past decades, before the reconstruction transformed it.
Snímek Imprint No.012.jpg tak v sobě nese i nečekanou dokumentární hodnotu – zachycuje syrovou atmosféru místa v čase, kdy ještě neslo patinu uplynulých desetiletí, než ho proměnila rekonstrukce.
