From Darkness
Every space carries its own weight, and this particular part of the studio has always felt gloomy, dark, and almost uncomfortably cramped to me. The only fixed point in that emptiness was a simple lamp standing in the middle. But when Adriana stepped into its cone of light, the entire atmosphere shifted. As the supermodel she is, she brought an incredible, dreamlike fragility to the scene.
It was our first session together, but right then and there, it was clear to me that we had to create something else together in the future. To eliminate the tight space around us and let the pure emotion stand out, I decided to get close—perhaps too close for some, as I might have been getting in the way at that moment—but the result completely exceeded my expectations.
Každý prostor má svou vlastní tíhu a tato část ateliéru na mě vždy působila ponuře, temně a až nekomfortně stísněně. Jediným pevným bodem v té prázdnotě byla obyčejná lampa stojící uprostřed. Když se ale do jejího kužele světla postavila Adriana, proměnila se celá atmosféra. Protože je to supermodelka, vnesla do scény neuvěřitelnou snovou křehkost.
Bylo to naše první společné focení, ale hned v tom momentu mi bylo jasné, že spolu musíme vytvořit něco dalšího. Abych eliminoval ten stísněný prostor kolem a nechal vyniknout čistou emoci, rozhodl jsem se jít blízko, možná až moc pro některé, kterým jsem musel v ten moment překážet, ale výsledek předčil mé očekávání.
