I started the Imprints series as a minimalist space for photographs that have a deeper, often sentimental value to me. It is a cross-section of my work where the present intertwines with the past, and the images change and complement each other over time, exactly according to the mood I am currently experiencing. They don’t have a fixed order and I take them as visual traces, snapshots and imprints that left something in me.

Imprints No.025
A long-exposure night photograph of a shirtless young man spinning a fire show (poi) on an empty street in front of a graffiti-covered wall. The fire trails create brightly glowing fiery spirals forming the number 96 on each side. The background is dramatically illuminated by the red and yellow light of the fire.
